What is consent? Consent is an informed, uncoerced, enthusiastic, revocable permission for something to happen.
What is a consent violation? A consent violation is any act where permission has not been obtained or is withdrawn during an act.
How to report a consent violation – Consent violation reports must be made in 1st person. You may not make a consent violation report on someone’s behalf. There is no way to receive clarification or specific information with an anonymous complaint. You may make an anonymous complaint and we may treat these complaints as a “watch list” for persons or activities.
When submitting your report, please include the following:
- Person(s) in question
- Behavior Reported
- Summary Of Events
- Evidence of behavior (please include screenshots when possible.)
- Timeframe
- Reportee with contact info
All reports will remain confidential.
Resolutions
- The Board may take no specific action, and the report may be considered for informational purposes only. Usually this is done at the reporter’s request.
- The Board may recommend conflict mediation between the reporter and the accused. This is voluntary.
- The Board may designate a person to have a private conversation with the accused to encourage corrective behavior.
- The Board may give the accused a restricted membership, allowing them to only participate at certain events. For example, only allowing participation in events held outside the dungeon in public spaces.
- The Board may suspend the accused’s membership for a specified time. During this time, the accused may not attend any events.
- The Board may permanently ban the accused.
