WHIPS! with The Society

Saturday May 13th at 7:00 PM we’ll be having an educational presentation on whips followed by a play party. We’re delighted to have OmahaXV in to present. Omaha “seems” like a quiet unassuming fellow until you put a whip in his hand, then he turns into a dynamo. Seriously, I am gobsmacked by his skill!

Class Description:
We’ll be going over all aspects of whips including what a whip is and isn’t, types of whips and basic whipmaking. How and why a whip cracks, different throws and how to choose the best whip for yourself. You’ll learn how to throw, incorporating a whip into your scene and of course safety for whip play. The session will include a demonstration and hands on practice for all those who want to try.

If you are joining us for the first time and are being vetted by reciprocity with another group please shoot us a message with that groups name.

Fine Print:

• Dress is Mild to Wild. Casual is fine.
• Please bring a snack to share (if you need a snack suggestion, please ask).
• Donation is $10.00 for regular members, snack buy-out is an additional $10
• 18 and over.
• Doors open and the fun begins at 7 pm. If you cannot arrive by 7:45 and have not cleared your tardiness with the event organizer don’t bother showing up, it’s rude.

This is a vetted event. We must meet you at least ONCE at lunch AND once at an event in the dungeon/studio that is not a party before you can attend.
