The Society is committed to providing an environment free from discrimination or harassment. Harassment or discrimination by or against any of our members based on an individual’s gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, creed, ancestry, color, national origin, marital status, or parental status is strictly prohibited
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
- Verbal comments
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following Including intentional, deliberate, and/or repeated “accidental” contact after consent for contact has been revoked.
- Rude or inappropriate behavior
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention
- Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
Harassment is not limited to interactions at events. It may also include emails, Discord, and/or in person interactions outside of events. Harassment does not have to be intentional, in fact, intent usually does not matter.
Enforcement – Violating the Anti-harassment policy at a Society Event may result in removal from the event and severe or repeated violations may result in the individual being banned from all events.
