How to Spot Who\u2019s Who \u2013 Name Badges & Lanyards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We use name badges and lanyards to help everyone know who\u2019s who in the group. Here\u2019s what each color means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd36 Yellow Tags & Lanyards<\/strong>
These belong to our newest friends<\/strong>\u2014folks who have been part of the group for 3 months or less<\/strong>. They might ask lots of questions (and we hope<\/em> they do!). Please be extra patient, and if you\u2019re not sure of an answer, point them toward a Red Band for help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udfe2 Green Lanyards<\/strong>
These are our official greeters<\/strong>\u2014kind of like Walmart greeters, but kinkier! You probably got a friendly message from a Greeter when you RSVP\u2019d for your first lunch or dinner. When you arrive at the dungeon for the first time, you\u2019ll \u201cknow\u201d someone. Greeters will help you through check-in, answer your questions, and introduce you around. They specialize in welcoming nervous newcomers, so don\u2019t hesitate to reach out\u2014they are ideal hand-holders!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u26ab Black Lanyards<\/strong>
Most members wear these. If you see someone with a black lanyard, it means they\u2019ve been around for a while and generally have a good idea of how things work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd34 Red Lanyards<\/strong>
These are worn by our Red Bands<\/strong>\u2014our version of Dungeon Monitors. They supervise the play space, help keep everyone safe, and make sure we all have fun. Red Bands are some of our most knowledgeable and trusted members. If you have a question or need assistance, they\u2019re your best go-to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2728 Fancy Pants Name Tags<\/strong>
These special tags mark our board members<\/strong>, which is about as close to modern-day slavery as you can get. We pay them in cheap plastic tags and the occasional cupcake for all the work they do behind the scenes. If you get the chance to say thank you<\/em>, they\u2019d definitely appreciate it (they don\u2019t hear it nearly enough).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
